My Story

Hi, I’m Daria! A Chicago based hairstylist, tight curl specialist, and makeup artist. I’m also the founder of Colour Theory Beauty, a boutique hair and makeup studio. My childhood fascination for beauty products has blossomed into a dream realized by creating stories through hair and makeup for 20 years. My makeup artistry has been featured on major motion pictures such as “Candyman,” and the Broadway hit “Wicked.” Hair styling on Showtime’s “The Chi,” the Paris Opera Ballet, and the Royal Ballet of London. Additionally, I’ve contributed to national television commercials, and New York Fashion Week.

I’m most passionate about educating women on how the art of beauty has the power to transform, and elevate how she feels about herself through the natural aesthetic.

I’m inspired by travel, music, culture, the art + science of creating harmony through color, and nature. Learning new techniques in beauty, the French language, cooking, and baking are other ways that I stay creatively fuelled. I love being around everybody, and everything that makes me feel my very best.
